La Tarara Crianza has the brightness of a luminous ruby with blue reflections. Aroma to red fruit in liqueur. Full of elegant discretion. Fruit compote in dispute with notes of new wood and cocoa. It enters to the mouth with authority, wide and fatty. Tasty and long. It tastes to Rioja.

It comes from 100% Tempranillo grapes of vineyards between 25 and 30 years of age located on clay-calcareous soils at 500-600 meters of altitude with a good proportion of boulders and gravels that allow a good drainage, poor lands located in well-lit slopes Oriented to the south that take advantage of a Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influence giving concentrated and very expressive wines. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels

Other information: Built on a hill, in the area of Ábalos, Bodega Mil Ciento Dos (Bodegas Obalo) shows to the visitor the architectural slenderness, straight lines and sharp edges, proud of its contemporary morphology. From the viewpoint of the winery, you can see and enjoy a landscape of gentle undulations that descend to the Ebro, and that in autumn, before falling the leaf of the vines, resembles a dazzling mural mottled. Ábalos, attached as a municipality to the Rioja Alta, draws on the map an imaginary wedge which, due to the administrative whims of history, enters fully into the "natural" region of the Rioja Alavesa. Bodega and vineyards feel here clothed by the important barrier of the Sierra Cantabria, that protects them in fact of the humid winds and the cold ones of the North. Abundant small plots, sometimes hidden, in the folds of hills and hills, of very fertile soils where the strain is bound to give the best of itself. The harvest is done, in this case, completely manual way. The small boxes travel to the winery, where they select, with patience and rigor, the best specimens of Tempranillo.
