Light Tuna Belly ("Ventresca") is a part of the tuna located at the bottom of the fish, near the head, and characterized by a great texture and exquisite taste.

Coming from the Galician Rias (Rías Gallegas or Galician Estuaries), Rosa Lafuente canned food is the reference of the shellfish canning tradition at its best.
They belong to the Mussel Regulating Council of Galicia and the whole seafood they work with is 100% Galician (clam, mussel, scallop, razor shell, octopus, cockles, sardines, tuna belly, etc).
Therefore, all their products incorporate the Certificate of Origin from Galicia except clam, because it comes from the Market of Ribeira (A Coruña) that is not under the authority of the regulator council.
At Rosa Lafuente the whole process of preparing these delicious gourmet snacks is manual: it is cleaned, cut, sealed in olive oil and packaged by hand. Sauces, present in pickled mussels, octopus and small scallops in king scallops sauce, are also cooked by themselves.
