100% artisanal Cured sheep cheese at the best price. Made with sheep raw milk and lamb's rennet. Cured during 6 months. Approx Net Weight: 350-400gr.

The Laurus cheeses are made with raw milk from own sheep flock, thus providing a comprehensive control of milk. 1,300 sheep make up the flock of Laurus Artisan Cheese factory located in one of the most traditionally cheese-making areas of Spain, the province of Zamora.

It is recommended to taste the cheese with the rind, as it adds a special touch. 

Rind

  • Without paint nor paraffin

Tasting notes

  • Color: intense ivory
  • Scents: clean and highly intense, with hints of maturation
  • Palate: consistent texture, good buttery and notes of long maturation with high balance, with high aromatic intensity and clean sheep milk notes
  • Aftertaste: long, sweet and romatic, highlighting mushroom taste
